Delivery

Primal Canine offers delivery to the following areas: 

*Next day delivery applies on orders placed during regular business hours. Orders placed after closing, will be delivered within 2 business days. Orders are normally sent out between 10:00am and 4:00pm.

Calgary - Next Day Delivery - Shipping fee calculates using postal code (distance from our shop to your door).

Okotoks, Airdrie, & Area - please contact us if you require delivery. 

If your postal code is not providing a shipping rate calculation on the checkout screen, please contact us for assistance.

Return Policy

Primal Canine is committed to ensuring that you and your pets are satisfied with the products you choose! We provide samples for most dry food options, as well as many of our raw food options. The following products are not eligible to be returned: 

• Raw food 

• Inukshuk Kibble 

• Products that are more than 1/4 used

• Products without original packaging and receipt

• Collars & Leashes

 

Refund Policy 

As a small business, Primal Canine offers store credit and exchanges for items eligible for return. Refunds will not be processed under most circumstances. 

 

Delivery Policies 

Orders containing raw food products 

• During cooler weather, deliveries will be left at your door during our regular delivery window (10am - 6pm).

• During warm weather (above 0 degrees celsius) someone should be available to collect your order during our regular delivery window. (12pm - 6pm). 

• Our delivery route is preset and we are typically unable to accommodate special requests. Please place your order when you will be home to collect the order on the scheduled delivery day or consider picking up your order in store! 

• Special delivery instructions should be left in the comments/order notes when you place your order. Instructions given afterwards, may not be seen before the order is picked up for delivery. We cannot contact drivers once they have your order.

• Consider leaving a cooler out at your point of delivery for your order to be left in. This will help to keep your raw food at an appropriate temperature.

• Primal Canine is not responsible for raw food deliveries once they have been delivered to your provided address. 

• Orders are delivered to the first point of contact. We are able to deliver to apartment buildings but our drivers are unable to enter the building. Please ensure someone is available to collect the order at the main door.

Extreme Weather & Road Conditions

• We reserve the right to postpone deliveries due to unsafe road conditions and extreme weather. We will always do our best to get your order to you on time while also prioritizing the safety of our family and team members. In the case that your delivery is delayed, you will be contacted! Your understanding is appreciated.

 

Pick-up Orders ​

• Pick-up orders typically take an hour or two to prepare. You will receive an email when your order is ready for you! You can always call or text us if you're looking for an order update, too. Orders placed after 4pm may not be available until the next day, though we do our best to fill them as quickly as possible.
